biography

Eliel Pacheco (b. 2001 Bronx, New York) is a multidisciplinary artist working with video, graphic design, sculpture, performance, and new media. As a recent graduate from Purchase College (Class of 2023) and alumni of The High School of Fashion Industries (Class of 2019) Pacheco’s projects address various ideas of identity, issues of race, and capitalism ranging from abstraction to literal representations to dive into a wider conversation. Pacheco has worked under the teachings of Robin Lynch, Cynthia Lin, Julian Kreimer, Benjamin Santiago, and his thesis advisor Kate Gilmore along with other artists like Brendan Ferandes, Autumn Knight, Jihan Zencirli, Jesus Benavente, Alix Pearlstein, and Daniel Bozhkov.
